Chapter History

Since 1987, Zeta Tau Alpha Iota Pi Chapter has welcomed strong-willed and intelligent members into our sorority. The founding members of the sorority were bonded together in sisterhood to embody the 9 Key Values of Zeta Tau Alpha. These values include being rather than seeming, humility, leadership, lifelong learning, love, loyalty & commitment, responsibility, seeking understanding that we might gain true wisdom, service and philanthropy.

Eventually they came to build the beautiful legacy house on UD's campus which we now call home. It is fully furnished with six student bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a guest room, beautiful kitchen, chapter room, and two washing and drying machines! There is also a beautiful study space for the chapter to enjoy. For a full house tour, please refer to the Iota Pi Chapter Instagram (@UDaytonZTA) story highlight.
